Quick & Creamy Homemade Mayo
Whip up fresh, delicious mayonnaise at home in minutes. Forget store-bought; homemade is superior in flavor and texture. You'll need just a few simple ingredients and a way to emulsify them.
Blender Method
Combine 1 large egg yolk, 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard, 1 teaspoon lemon juice or vinegar, and a pinch of salt in a blender. Blend on medium speed. Very slowly, while the blender is running, drizzle in 1 cup of neutral oil (like canola or vegetable) in a thin, steady stream. Hand Whisk Method
If you prefer a hands-on approach, whisk the egg yolk, mustard, lemon juice/vinegar, and salt in a bowl. Gradually whisk in the oil, a few drops at a time initially, then in a slow, thin stream as the mixture begins to thicken. Continue whisking vigorously until fully emulsified and creamy.
